About the event
Due to the cold weather on Saturday, Feb. 4, this event will be rescheduled. Stay tuned for a new date to be announced soon!
Those of you who know me, know my love for all things nature, especially trees! My license plate even says TREE in French because I am a tree nut. ;) I spent years studying dendrology for my Conservation Biology degree and spent a couple years working as an arborist in my early 20's. Hiking combined with tree identification is one of my favorite hobbies.
I invite you to join me and well-known Arborist, Sean Gere, for this winter tree identification hike in beautiful Woodland Park. We'll meet in the parking lot on Monona Drive (next to Mala Yoga formerly Monona Yoga).
While we'll focus on trees in the park, you'll also have the opportunity to get to know me (if you don't already) and enjoy some valuable time in the great outdoors. You'll also get to ask Sean all about trees! This event is free. If the temperature is below 10°, we'll reschedule for a later date. Please be sure to include your email address so you'll receive the reminder or the notification of rescheduling if needed. Looking forward to seeing you there!
